Privacy

This page explains what data PulseRealEstate keeps, why, and for how long. It is written in plain language and describes what the site actually does. It is not legal advice.

What we store

If you create an account we store your name, email and phone number. If you are an agent and ask to be verified, we also store the cédula number you give us; only administrators see it. If you enquire about a listing, those same details and your message go to that listing's agent and stay in their contact list. A message to an agent that our automatic filter takes for spam reaches no agent: it is kept for administrators to review instead. We never sell or hand those details to anyone for advertising. We also keep a copy of the emails we send you, so we can tell what went out and when; the sign-in links inside them are stripped out before it is stored. We also keep a history of changes to accounts, listings, articles and leads (what changed, when and by whom) and of when you sign in and out; only administrators see it.

Cookies

We use two first-party cookies and no third-party ones. One keeps you signed in. The other identifies the browser so visits can be counted; only a hash of it is stored, never the cookie itself. There are no advertising cookies and no external trackers.

Browsing history

If you have enquired about a listing, the pages you look at afterwards are recorded and the agent you contacted can see them. That is what lets them understand what you are looking for before calling you back. Until you identify yourself, views are tied to the browser and to nobody. We also record the site you arrived from, if you followed a link: the site and page only, never anything you searched for. The pages you visit inside your own account are never recorded.

Who we share it with

We work with three providers: an email service that sends sign-in links and notifications, a CDN that serves the site, and a machine-translation service that translates listing and article text. None of them receives your contact details for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep browsing history, so we can understand how the site is used over time. Expired sessions and sign-in links delete themselves. Contact details stay for as long as the agent needs them. Write to us and we will delete your account and everything attached to it, that history included.

Questions, or want your account deleted? Write to us from the contact page and tell us what you need.
